STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

Move development plans forward on the I-80/88 corridor
Sub-strategies:
- Ensure there are shovel ready sites with Phase I environmental studies completed
- Work with local governmental bodies, regional agencies, and state legislators to resolve floodway delineations that will allow development along the I/88 corridor
- Work with local and state organizations and agencies to stay abreast of possible EDA or other grant source funds for infrastructure that will allow expansion on this corridor

Align our organization with other economic development organizations
Sub-strategies:
- Review QC Chamber and Intersect Illinois inquiries in East Moline and provide input on possible projects.
- Participate in QC Chamber Business Connection meetings with East Moline businesses
- Update Core Properties data

Maintain strong working relationship with the City of East Moline
Sub-strategies:
- Work with City staff and committees on all economic development initiatives and possibilities.
- Continue participation in RAISE Grant planning and execution until completion

Acquire data to ensure job creation and tax base enhancement are maximized
Sub-strategies:
- Continue work with Bend Land Development Co. on the former CNH site development
- Determine and develop large site for potential development
- Work with developer on Quarter residential development on all available properties.
