Transportation
East Moline and the Quad Cities offer a direct path to major U.S. cities – Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, St. Louis, Kansas City, Des Moines, Indianapolis, and Omaha -- in mere hours, not days. It is where barges unload and embark on the Mississippi River inland waterway and where three freight railroads transport products and goods through our region and the world. It is where our international airport serves as a host to the delivery of your clients and your freight.
East Moline is part of the Quad Cities metropolitan region and sits at the crossroads of the Mississippi River and interstates 80 and 74 with arterial bypasses through and around the metropolitan area as well as several federal and major state highways connecting the area to other major roadways.
The Quad Cities International Airport (MLI) is served by several major airlines for travel as well as commercial air freight services including the nearby Foreign Trade Zone 133.
Moving people and goods into, through and out of East Moline and the Quad Cities is one of the greatest assets of the area as shown in this YouTube video.
